Area 8 – Lodge Hill
Representative, Website Committee Chair
I was born in Montana and spent my early years exploring Yellowstone Park with my family. I later grew up in Minneapolis, moving to California as a teenager. I spent time in U.S. Navy, receiving electronic training for missile radar control. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California State University Northridge. Most recently, I worked as a business manager for professional engineers and prior to retiring as corporate accountant for Kinko’s.
LIVING ON THE NORTH COAST
I’ve lived in Cambria for 10 years, having moved here from Port Hueneme, California in 2005. I am a Vietnam veteran and member of Cambria Post 432 of the American Legion. I serve as a director of the Cambria Tennis Club and was previously treasurer of the Cambria Dance Club.
WHY ARE YOU VOLUNTEERING TO SERVE ON THE NCAC?
I have volunteered for the NCAC assignment because I believe it is important to have members who are interested in representing the mainstream Cambrian and not special interest groups. I believe I can do that. I also think that everyone should take time out to share the council responsibility for at least one term and preferably there should be rotating membership.
