WHY ARE YOU VOLUNTEERING TO SERVE ON THE NCAC?
The Coastal Act, Title 23 of the CZLUO, and the North Coast Area Plan were created by the people to protect the coast for present and future generations. I volunteer at the NCAC striving for balance whereby economic interests are not allowed to overwhelm the interests of residents and, in the process, destroy the very nature and wildlife we all enjoy and that attracts millions of visitors to our area each year. I encourage NCAC members to consider these challenges by weighing the full impacts of development in a rare forest and event and tourism promotion in the North Coast of SLO County.
