I Meeting called to Order by Chair Joyce Renshaw at 6:30 PM

II Roll Call-taken by Bambi Fields

Present: Joyce Renshaw, Debby Mix, Bambi Fields, Bob McLaughlin, Dawn Dunlap, Gary Gall, Mary Giacoletti, Tom Gray, Mike Thompson, Laurel Stewart, Erwin Ohannesian,Mac VanDuzer,Jeff Miller, Teri O’Rourke, Ralph Covell, Stevan Rosenlind, Gail Robinette

Absent: Sigrid Castaneda,

Excused: Marty Munoz Main, Marjorie Sewell, Tom Gray, Clive Finchamp,

Quorum established.

III Minutes of last meeting(September) approved.

IV Public Comment Period-comments limited to items not on agenda

1. Debby Mix-concerned about possible situation of fire on San Simeon Creek Road,signage re. wieght bearing capacity not correct, therefore, fire trucks would not be able to cross bridge in case of fire..

2. Robert Davis, central coast biker
Announces bike ride to the Lighthouse with proceeds going to local charities. All permits have been issued. Information needed? Call 543-5973

VI Treasurer’s Report-Gary Gall

Balance:$399.45

$984.00 from the County Fund for the NCAC.

Motion to accept the consent agenda: Motion passes.

VII CCSD Report: Al MacKinnon

Greg Sanders has submitted his resignation.

Army Corps of Engineers-approved $3 million for expenditures.

There may be a WORKSHOP to explain desal project at the end of each future NCAC meeting.

VIII Public Safety Report-Todd Steeb

Local San Simeon resident died in accident near San Geronimo Creek this afternoon.(Francisco Mendoza)

Sheriff Department has installed onboard computers.

IX Supervisor’s Report-Bruce Gibson

Budget in place.

Signage on San Simeon Creek Road is currently being investigated.

Speeding by Shamel Park-permanent speed sign which reads speed of each passing car.

Ferrasci Bridge-construction during 2011 in dry season.

X SLO Planning Department

Vacation rental ordinance to be heard in November.

More parking could be available on Bridge and Center.

XIII Project and Land Use Committee-Tom Gray, Chair

proposed vacatin rental ordinance revisions

extension of 200 foot rule.

New permits must apply for Minor Use Permits after 3 years.

Rules must be posted in Rental Units and on contract. 3 infractions then no more permits issued.
